The Club was founded in 1980 on the basis of the hostel №13 (the history of the Club’s creation is well told on the site of KPI ). The creative space for KPIshnikov was changing with them. Here, PHL students prepare for couples, international competitions, hackathons, and spend their free time. Now they are setting up a laboratory in the club for the work of various research groups.

Recently, “Club 13” was visited by the KPI rector Mikhail Zgurovsky and the first pro-rector Yuriy Yakimenko. They met with students who set up the club with their own hands and club manager Dmitry Ivanovich Kletchenko. The students spoke about their participation in the club’s development, the victories in international competitions of young inventors. Dmitry Kletchenkov, in turn, shared his plans for the future – about organizing classes of thematic working groups, conducting classes in certain disciplines.

Specifically, such as computer-based music and speech processing (acoustic examination and correction laboratory – scientific supervisor Arkadiy Prodeus), groups such as Medical Acoustics (scientific supervisor Sergei Naida), sound engineer group (scientific supervisor) Vitaliy Panteleyovich Zayets), the group “Acoustic Technologies for Liquid Environments” (scientific supervisor Oleksandr Leiko), the group “TOE” (scientific supervisor Mykhaylo Artemenko).

Such “acoustic” activity is justified by the fact that the students of the Department of Acoustics and Acoustoelectronics live in the dormitory №13. Concluding the meeting, Mikhail Zgurovskyy spoke very strongly about the energy of the creators of “Club 13” and offered to hold here, in particular, meetings with representatives of large companies who can tell students about the selection system for these companies. “We will comprehensively assist the Club in this matter,” he said.
